Looks like is an issue with Firefox 3 as the file that I download with firefox
is named:
Minitokyo.Anime.Wallpapers.Claymore_344350.jpg
and IE is:
Minitokyo_Anime_Wallpapers_Claymore_344350.jpg
I tried to modify the url to include the _ instead of the . but the issue still
persited.
I know that sometimes power managment lowers the CPU speed depending on if you
are running on battery or plugged into the wall. Also if you are using Windows,
Windows doesn't always properly detect the actual speed of the processor.
From my knowledge of ICS you can't pick and choose who has access to the
internet and who doesn't. I think the best solution is to use static IP
addresses and find a free proxy server/client to install on only the PCs you
wish to access the internet.
If you are using a router to handle DHCP I would first disable it and use static
IPs for the network. Second I would enable the MAC address filter on the router
so that the only PCs that you want on the internet can connect to the
router.
If you arn't using a router then I will need more information about the setup.
I just googled the squid and it looks slimy. I've heard of the Colossal Squid
before, but I don't remember where. I just wonder how many of them exist.

like what the guy did, but that is in the past so why not allow others to
benifite from the experaments.

I personally use 5 different programs to delete and prevent spyware: Adaware, Spybot, Spyblaster, Hijack This, and firefox.
For AV software I use NAV corperate, since I use my PCs mainly I'm able to use the company license.
If all of those programs fail I use a Pre-instilation Environment CD to clean off the infected files.
